Life | A Short Essay
Life Reflection
Life is a unique and fascinating feeling the feeling of living, gaining, losing, becoming, being, crying, failing, and winning. From success to disappointment, from falling down to touching great heights, from stumbling to finding balance again, countless experiences are hidden within this journey called life.
These experiences reveal themselves in different ways. Sometimes they appear as pain, sometimes as feelings, and sometimes as emotions. They illuminate a face through a smile, a laugh, or a quiet expression of joy.
Life often changes like the seasons, and every change follows its own process. Transformation can be uncomfortable, yet it is necessary. When life changes, fierce lightning may flash across the sky. At times, deep darkness surrounds us and loud storms seem to echo everywhere. Yet none of it lasts forever. Soon, another side of the season arrives.
Then comes the sunlight, carrying the brightness of a new morning, a new life, and a fresh beginning. It brings renewed energy and the inspiration to start our journey again. Life gives us the chance to replant the seeds that failed and to grow again where things once withered.
Yet it is equally true that if there was only one seed, the one that was our life, our world, our everything, and life takes it away, then even thousands of new seeds cannot truly replace it. Millions of new beginnings cannot fully fill the place of one life that was genuinely lived.
Here, we experience what it means to be human. We carry the truth of the lives that have once spoken to us and then moved on. Meanwhile, within these feelings called life, we search for meaning, purpose, and answers to our questions. We live to experience that love, compassion, and humanity toward ourselves and the world that life constantly points us toward.
But we are the eyes of that signal. We are its voice. We are every feeling contained within it. Dear Life, I choose to leave you unfinished, so that you may continue to grow and continue to teach.
For this day, this moment, and this feeling, thank you from the depths of my heart. Thank you that I am able to feel your soil beneath my feet.
